Strength exercise
Kettlebell Around the World
How to do it
- Stand with feet shoulder width apart holding a kettlebell by the handle in one hand at waist height.
- Brace the core and pass the kettlebell around the waist from one hand to the other, circling the body.
- Keep the torso upright and let the shoulders guide the kettlebell smoothly around each side without leaning.
- Switch the circling direction after completing a set number of passes in one direction.
- Breathe steadily through the circuit rather than holding the breath during the handoffs.
- Keep the pass close to the body and the core tight to avoid arching the lower back as the kettlebell moves behind.
