Toe Press

How to do it

  1. Sit in a leg press machine and position only the balls of your feet on the bottom edge of the platform.
  2. Release the safety catches and straighten your legs without locking your knees.
  3. Push through the balls of your feet to extend your ankles, pressing the platform away.
  4. Hold the top position briefly and squeeze the calves.
  5. Lower the platform back by dorsiflexing your ankles with control.
  6. Repeat for the prescribed number of repetitions.
